Congratulations to Miguel Undabarrena for being awarded USAWE Platinum Lifetime Medal at Master Level

Miguel was awarded the USAWE Platinum Lifetime Achievement Medal. To earn a Platinum Medal, a rider must earn a total of 8 qualifying scores in Masters Level classes. Those scores must include: (4) scores 60% or higher (Dressage/EOH % averaged), (4) scores 65% or higher (Dressage/EOH % averaged) All qualifying scores must be earned when competing under an “R”, “S”, or WAWE judge. There are only a total of five riders to have earned a
PLATINUM MEDAL to date.​
2022 USAWE National Champion Masters Level
February, 2023
Miguel was awarded the USAWE National Year end Award for Level 7- Masters Champion. It was a great year with his lusitano stallion Gunipre who always performed securely in the Level 7 competitions. Additionally, Miguel won the Reserve Champion for Intermediate A with Kalire, a Morgan horse that is in training with him. It was especially rewarding for Miguel to see his students achieving awards, following his methods and guidance. Miguel congratulates all the fellow champions and reserve champions on the well deserved awards!
WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS OF WORKING EQUITATION 2022 IN LES HERBIERS, FRANCE

Sensational! Miguel is the first US Rider to take part in a World Championships of Working Equitation. His horse Altivo MABU flew all the way from Arizona to France. The pair had a great international debut and Miguel is prepared for more international challenges in Working Equitation and Dressage
WORKING EQUITATION COMPETITION EL CAMPEON FARMS
June 24, 2022
Miguel spent the weekend at the prestigious El Campeon Farms for a Working Equitation competition, judged by international WAWE judge Antonio Vicente. He won the Masters Class with his gelding Altivo MABU and placed 2nd with his stallion Gunipre. He won the Advanced Class with the Lusitano stallion Imperio do Castanheiro, who is in full training with Miguel.

Miguel Undabarrena has trained a great number of horses from start to Grand Prix Level, earning his USDF bronze, silver and gold medals. Additionally to dressage, he has a passion for working equitation competing international and winning numerous champion titles.
